About Miss Sears
Miss Sears grew up in Campbell, California. At a young age, she knew she wanted to be a teacher. When she went to college in Reno, Nevada, she began pursuing her dream and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Elementary Teaching in December 2013. She holds an elementary and special education teaching license. She began teaching third grade in the 2014-2015 school year and taught for three years before moving up to fourth grade, where she taught for three more years. During her fourth year of teaching, she decided to apply to the University of Notre Dame to pursue a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and graduated in July 2020. Over the years at her previous school, she coached basketball and Girls on the Run.
While Miss Sears is new to Chicago, she is excited to learn and serve a new community. In her free time, Miss Sears enjoys going to the lake, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. |
